"Mom's The Word"
Here's your opportunity to let your Mom know how much you appreciate all she does! Whether it's driving you to after school activities, to a friend's house, taking care of you when you're sick, or just being there for you whenever you need her...think of all the wonderful things your mother does for you!
The Merchants located at Chickering Plaza (Rte 125 across from Haffner’s Gas Station) in North Andover are pleased to announce an essay contest honoring Merrimack Valley Moms this Mother’s Day.
The rules are pretty simple:
Write an essay explaining what makes your mother special and unique
Essays should be no longer than 500 words
Entry forms can be picked up at Rose & Dove, Nova SalonSpa, MTM Insurance, Choice Fitness, Fun2Paint, Hometown Sports or Sunbanque located in Chickering Plaza starting April 1st, 2010
Completed essays need to be submitted by April 17th, 2010 and can be hand delivered or mailed to:

A panel of independent judges will read the essays.
One lucky mother will receive the following grand prize package valued at $1150:

The child who writes the winning essay, along with the three other children who our judges identify as runner’s up, will win an array of wonderful gifts generously donated by the Merchants at Chickering Plaza.

Eligibility Rules: Entrants must be younger than 18 years old.
Essay must include Child’s Name, Child’s Age, Mother’s e-mail, address and phone number to be considered. Only one entry per child will be allowed. No family members of the Merchants at Chickering Plaza eligible to participate. The winning essay and family will be featured in the May 2nd, 2010 Sunday Eagle Tribune.please check back!
